Tentative list of participants
A two-day Parallel Ice Sheet Model (PISM) workshop will be held prior to this meeting.
Students are strongly encouraged to attend, and will be given priority for oral presentations
Deadlines
Please e-mail Bob McNabb as soon as possible if you are planning to attend. Please include the following information: your name, your affiliation, whether you are planning to give a talk, whether you are planning to go to the permafrost tunnel, whether you are a student or not, and whether or not you would like floor space at someone's home (i.e., free accommodation). No abstracts need be submitted.

Friday, 8 October
- 0800 - 0900, Registration and breakfast/coffee
- 0900 - 1600, Presentations
- 1600 - 1700, Seminar by Tad Pfeffer
- 1800, Dinner/Party
Saturday, 9 October
- 0900 - 1700, presentations (lunch is provided)
Sunday, 10 October
- 0900 - 1200, Permafrost tunnel excursion, led by Matthew Sturm
Oral presentations
Talks should be no longer than 15 minutes (including discussion and speaker change). Following the informal character of previous meetings a listing of the specific presentations and their dates/times will be compiled on 8 October in the morning, i.e., it will not be available prior to the meeting. If you have not already done so, please let us know if you intend to give a talk so that we have a rough idea of how many talks to expect. Poster presentations are also welcome.
Location
The meeting will be held in the Geophysical Institute (Elvey Building) at UAF (campus map here).
Accommodation
We will try to host participants at our homes as much as possible - in particular, but not exclusively, students. Please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to do so. Please send any requests to Bob McNabb AND Joanna Young.

Registration Fee
There is no registration fee per se, but a contribution of roughly $30-50 will be collected to cover both Friday's food and the coffee breaks.
